Our Vision

The Deas Island Yacht Club was founded in 2005 with a vision to promote boating safety as well as to provide recreational boating opportunities to its members.

Although the club is located at the RiverHouse Marina in Delta BC, we have many members with vessels moored at various marinas throughout the lower mainland and Gulf Islands. The Deas Island Yacht Club is always welcoming new members and there are no waiting lists to join.

The DIYC is committed to fostering a sense of community to all local residences and businesses as well as promoting benefits as a destination to other reciprocating Yacht Club. We also provide opportunities to its members including:

• Promoting all recreational aspects of boating.
• Cruises and year round social events.
• Boating Safety and provide education.
